Routines are crucial for children starting school as they provide structure, predictability, and a sense of security, making the transition to school easier and fostering learning. They help children develop essential skills like independence, self-regulation, and social-emotional development, which are vital for success in the classroom.  In Prep our main focus for Term 1 is helping our students settle into the routine of school life.
