MEPS is very fortunate to have extensive playing areas.  We have grassed oval areas, passive areas, and dedicated playgrounds for each section of the school. We are very excited by the new addition of our incredible Sensory Garden. These incredible areas provide plenty of open space for students to play at recess and lunchtimes.

Our outdoor play spaces include: 

• Grassed area near senior building (BER)
• Oval with goal posts and cricket pitch.
• An area for free games, kick-to kick
• Artificial grass/Picnic area- an area with table/chairs. Great for our sunny days to eat lunch with friends, enjoy games at recess club
• The Dome- An undercover basketball court, used for recess and lunchtime, after school basketball training and protection for outdoor events such as our Christmas Carols, Market Day etc. This is invaluable during both the winter and summer. 
• Basketball court (Senior side)
• Junior playground- A dedicated playground for Prep-Grade 2 students, to ensure our junior kids have age-appropriate equipment and exclusive area away from the bigger students.

• The Stadium- This provides an excellent space for our students to participate in P.E. as well as providing a venue for our school assemblies, OSHC and major events such as Grade 6 Graduation, including a large media projector.
• BBQ Area- A paved area and seating around the school BBQ where students can sit and chat with friends in comfort. We use this BBQ for whole school rewards, fundraising days and our school fete.
