Mandarin is a relatively new subject at MEPS, conceived from an opportunity of travelling to China by a number of teachers a few years ago.
Now it has turned into a formal subject taught by Joan Xu, taught from Grades P-6.
In addition, selected students in Grades 5 and 6 have the opportunity of actually travelling to China once every two years for a cross-cultural experience with a sister school.
