Media Arts is a new subject taught for the very first time at MEPS by Peter Johnson. Its purpose is to teach students the process of producing digital imagery in the form of photography or movie making. It is celebrated with an annual event called The MEPS Movie Festival. In 2023 the MEPS Movie Festival was held at the Mooroolbark Community Centre.
